How does Meridian protect our data?
Meridian combines database-level data isolation, role-based access and financial audit trails with US-hosted database infrastructure. We use PCI DSS Level 1-certified payment processing infrastructure with independently audited SOC 2 Type II controls and encryption in transit and at rest.
Can our central and local teams work in the same platform?
Yes. Meridian supports organization-wide oversight alongside access scoped to a team’s responsibilities. Your finance team can view giving across entities while local teams work with the records they are permitted to see.
Can we keep our entities and accounts separate?
Yes. Gifts remain associated with the right legal entity, location, fund and payment account. Reporting brings them into view together without mixing currencies or treating separate entities as one set of books.
Will Meridian work with our accounting system?
Yes. Meridian connects to Campfire and QuickBooks Online, bringing giving, entity, fund and deposit details into your finance workflow. More bookkeeping and enterprise finance systems are on the roadmap. We’ll review your accounting setup with you during onboarding.
Is Meridian built for smaller organizations too?
Yes. We started small, and we believe the right tools help you grow.
